In the center of the historical town of Kastav lies this traditionally furnished and well-equipped apartment. It is spread over two floors and from the terrace there is a view of the old Crekvina square. The square often serves as a stage for various events, such as concerts. The old town of Kastav is a popular tourist destination due to its exceptional cultural and historical heritage. Restaurants, souvenir stores and art galleries are located in the immediate vicinity. The nearby town of Matulji, also called the gateway to the Opatija Riviera, is famous for its bell tradition, which is on the UNESCO list of intangible heritage. In the local taverns you can try ?jarbola?, a wine with a particular taste, made from the local grape variety. Fans of an active vacation can look forward to numerous cycling and hiking trails leading them to the surrounding forests. One of the interesting ways to explore the beautiful natural and historical heritage of the Kastav region is horseback riding. We definitely recommend a day trip to the nearby mountain and nature park U?ka, whose highest peak Vojak offers a fantastic panoramic view of Kvarner and inland Istria. Enjoy well-maintained hiking and biking trails, nature trails and promenades, of which the Slap promenade and the Vela Draga nature trail are the most famous. You can enjoy various sporting activities such as hiking, free climbing, mountain biking and free flying. Be sure to visit Opatija, the center of cultural events, which include numerous concerts and festivals in the summer.
