What a view !
Don't hesitate to stop off at the small village of Ambialet, on the banks of the Tarn river, an evening in the heart of the episcopal city of Albi or even in the many small country markets. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, farm visits are all activities that will delight young and old. You can admire the Pyrenees chain in clear, clear weather. Come admire the starry sky and enjoy peaceful aperitif-barbecue evenings. Picking seasonal fruits in the park, pétanque and outdoor games will allow young and old alike to relax. Lovers of fishing and hiking can also escape on the paths along the shores of Lake St Géraud. But vacations are also about relaxation, rest, convivial moments with family or friends... lazy relaxation and rest by the pool will be welcome.
** THE GITE **
Large, completely independent house, located between Tarn and Aveyron in the heart of Ségala, a land rich in history, traditions and know-how in a small hamlet where the Peyrouse farm inn is located.
Ground floor :
- fully equipped open kitchen with a dining room and living room. Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, filter coffee maker and Tassimo® pods. Fridge with freezer in the pantry behind the kitchen, as well as washing machine.
- bedroom with two single beds 90x190cm which can be joined together
- bathroom with shower and sink. Independent toilet
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (bath + shower) and 1 separate toilet. Distribution of rooms:
- a bedroom with double bed 160x200cm and baby bed,
- an ideal bedroom for children with a 140x190cm double bed and on the mezzanine above: a 140x190cm bed and a 90x190cm single bed,
- a bedroom open to the living room with double bed 160x200cm
Wood stove in the living room + underfloor heating. Baby equipment available.
Exteriors: a little over 1500m² of garden in front of the house with pétanque court next to the sheep enclosure (which belong to the owners). A beautiful private swimming pool heated from May to October (thermostat 24°C depending on the weather). Dimensions: 3.40x7.20 m and 1.30 m deep. A terrace with garden furniture, dining table, gas plancha and charcoal brazier.
Part of the owners' agricultural farm is located approximately 500 meters from the gîte, but the owners live in Andouque, about fifteen minutes from the gîte. You will probably come across them across the fields, but a key box allows you to welcome them from time to time if they are not available.
** FISHING: fishing lake located 1.5km from the lodge with predators.
